Using the Chef’s Choice 810 Gourmet Egg Cooker
I got this Chef’s Choice 810 Gourmet Egg Cooker about a week and a half ago and have used it several times with great success. After reading many reviews on 4 brands of egg cookers, I chose this one. I never thought I would be praising the virtues of an egg cooker until I had an egg that had been steamed. Wow, what a difference.
The steamed eggs are also easy to peel and this cooker doesn’t require piercing the shell, like others do. Once you’ve steam eggs, you won’t ever want to go back to boiling them. This unit, you fill with water to a mark, if you are within 30% either way, doesn’t seem to make any difference to the cooking consistency of the egg. I would advise you to keep a small towel or paper towels under it to absorb the moisture.
